True Color ID ("we", "our", "us") is a color detection application developed by Ryan Roberts. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the True Color ID app or visit truecolorid.com.

1. Information We Collect

Camera Access

True Color ID uses your camera for real-time color detection only.

• No images or video are stored, uploaded, or transmitted
• All color processing happens on your device in real time
• Camera data is never sent to our servers or any third party

App Data (Stored Locally Only)

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Color history and saved palettes
• Premium unlock status
• App preferences and settings

Location and Microphone

True Color ID does not access your location or microphone.

2. Information We Don't Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not store or upload photos or camera images
• We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or crash reporters
• We do not track your usage or behavior
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not require an account or login

3. How We Use Information

Color Detection: All color processing happens on your device in real time using your camera feed. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Color History & Palettes: Stored locally on your device only. Not backed up to any server.

Payment Processing: Handled entirely by PayPal or Google Play — we only receive confirmation of a successful payment.

5. Data Storage & Security

All app data (color history, saved palettes, premium status) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or databases that hold your data.

If you uninstall the app or clear browser data, your saved information will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover this data because we do not have a copy of it.

6. Children's Privacy

True Color ID is appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, there is no risk to children's privacy.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no data for us to access, provide, or delete on your behalf. You control all data directly:

• Clear color history within the app
• Delete saved palettes within the app
• Uninstall the app or clear browser data to remove all local data

8. International Users

True Color ID is available worldwide. Since we do not collect or store personal data on servers, there are no international data transfer concerns. All processing happens on your local device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
